Sri Murugan Center(SMC), is an educational NGO founded in 1982 by Tan Sri Dato Dr. M. Thambirajah to carry out a dedicated service in uplifting the Indian community through education for the past 43 years. SMC chose Education as the sole vehicle for the social and economic mobility of the Indian community in Malaysia. It began with 4 physical centres in 1982 to 103 centres and now 128 virtual centres nation wide. Currently, we have more than 10,000 students throughout the nation. SMC has created more than 52,470 graduates across the nation and globally. Eventually, SMC believes that these graduates will uplift the socio-economy status of their families.
