Finding Her Voice: From SMC to the Top of the Airwaves
The Inspiring Journey of Mirosha Genesan, SMC Klang Alumna, Class of 2010 Sri Murugan Centre (SMC) proudly celebrates the inspiring journey of Ms. Mirosha Genesan, who has risen to become second-in-command at RAAGA, Malaysia’s No. 1 Tamil radio channel. Her story is one of resilience, self-belief, and the power of education to transform lives. Raised by a single mother in a B40 household, Mirosha understood struggle from an early age. Yet, despite the challenges, she never gave up. Her turning point came when she joined SMC Klang at the age of 12, where she remained until her STPM years. Through consistent guidance, motivation, and community spirit, SMC became the foundation on which she built her dreams. Beyond being a student, Mirosha later returned as a dedicated SMC volunteer, giving back to the very institution that had nurtured her growth. This act of service reflects her gratitude and her commitment to uplifting others. Today, she stands tall in the media industry, proving that beginnings do not define one’s future—belief does. With purpose and determination, Mirosha has carved out her place as a leader in the world of broadcasting, inspiring countless young people to pursue their passions with courage and conviction. The entire SMC community welcomes her home with pride, honoring her as an alumna who has not only found her voice but also used it to empower and inspire others. Fly high, Mirosha! Your journey reminds every student that with resilience, belief, and the right guidance, nothing is beyond reach.
