SMC Alumni Achievement: Mr. Kaviarasan Arumugam

From SMC Kulim to Serving in the Royal Malaysia Police Sri Murugan Centre proudly celebrates the inspiring achievement of Mr. Kaviarasan Arumugam, an alumnus of SMC Kulim (2004–2005) and a graduate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah, who now serves as an *Inspector at the Commercial Crime Investigation Division, Cheras District Police Headquarters. Born into a B40 family, with his father working as a security guard and his mother as a housewife, Kaviarasan faced many challenges growing up. Yet, he remained determined to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for himself and his family. His unwavering commitment and resilience have carried him through to this significant milestone. Reflecting on his journey, Mr. Kaviarasan shares that SMC laid the foundation for self-discipline and sharpened his focus to overcome distractions. The guidance, structure, and values instilled at SMC played a pivotal role in preparing him for the challenges ahead. Today, as an Inspector in the Royal Malaysia Police, Kaviarasan’s success stands as a shining example of how perseverance, discipline, and determination can change lives. His journey is a source of inspiration for current students, reminding them that humble beginnings do not define one’s destiny.
